Why have a Membership

Currently the TH CIC has most of Thanet's GPs registered as members.

As a company we could be involved in many different projects, initiatives and businesses.

It can be very difficult to define the direction the company should take to serve the people in Thanet best. Hence we are developing a wider membership system that allows the frontline clinicians, staff and stakeholders to be involved into the decision-making process to set the right priorities for our company.

We believe that the Thanet Health CIC needs to be for the people in Thanet by the people in Thanet. A meaningful membership of the clinicians and staff should create an atmosphere of ownership to everyone. This hopefully could foster a sense of pride of each member because they are belonging, in one way or another, to our company.
