Social Enterprise Gold Mark

The Social Enterprise Gold Mark is a symbol of excellence for social enterprises. It is awarded to organisations that can prove best practice across key business areas, including social impact, financial transparency and business ethics.

Ged Timson spent the majority of the year working towards gaining the Social Enterprise Gold Mark. We were successfully awarded the Gold Mark on the 14/12/2021.

ISO 9001 & 27001

ISO 9001 & 27001 obtained by Paul Ruprecht. These standards cover established best practice for Quality Management and Information Security Management systems. The awards were granted in December 2021.

The Social Enterprise Mark is externally assessed and internationally recognised, and provides an independent guarantee that an organisation has met sector-agreed criteria and is operating as a genuine social enterprise, committed to creating positive social change.

It provides clear standards for the social enterprise sector, defining what it means to be a genuine social enterprise.

  Cyber Essentials Certification

Cyber Essentials Certification achieved by Jake Smith is a Government-backed and industry-supported scheme that helps businesses protect themselves against the growing threat of cyber attacks and provides a clear statement of the basic controls organisations should have in place to protect themselves.

It is the UK Government’s answer to a safer internet space for organisations of all sizes, across all sectors. Developed and operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Cyber Essentials is considered the best first step to a more secure network, protecting you from 80% of the most basic cyber security breaches.

Gaining Cyber Essentials certification also enables organisations to showcase their credentials as trustworthy and secure when it comes to cyber security.

The certification defines a focused set of controls which provide clear guidance on basic cyber security for organisations of all sizes and offers a sound foundation of cyber security measures that all types of organisations can implement at a low cost.
